D BOY SOUND

3269 Chise [born Ashaun Mason] is an emcee/indie artist, born & raised from the eastside of Detroit MI [8 Mile & Gratiot to be exact].  He got his first start in music at the age of 6 years-old, performing as a member of his church choir along with other family and relatives.

Over the years, he honed his talent by performing during family gatherings, in school-based talent shows, open mics, and any opportunity that would afford him a chance to perform his music, and develop his talent as an emcee. As a proud alum of Teen HYPE (Detroit, MI), Chise would have some of his early touring moments, having an opportunity to perform in New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. He would continue his music education at American Intercontinental University (AIU) from 2006-2010., where he majored in Music Production. Another key influence in his life would come by way of his older brother who helped teach him how to write in song format, and structure his verses and choruses. 

Consequently, all the years of development and hard work would culminate in his first release entitled "Something Special (circa 2015)," in which he only gave out via physical copies across the Detroit area. “Pray for Me,” "Feel Good Music,” "Forever,” "The Woman You Are," and "Save Sinna" all were released as singles and videos shot by director, B. Hughes TV.

As a follow-up to his first release, in 2017-18, Chise released a collaboration project called Chopped Suei, Vol.1, with Detroit based producer Merch Music; which is currently available on all digital media streaming platforms everywhere.  Some of the standouts from this project were "Black Love,” "Haters,” "Greatness,” "Starting 5,” and "Tell You.”

3269 Chise has been a frequent winner and performer across several local platforms and showcases.

In the summers of 2019 & 2020, Chise released the singles "Chise," “Smiling Faces,” “Social Media,” “Rainy Dayz” and collaboration efforts with Dot Gang entitled “Soul Food” and a collaboration project/single/video entitled “Coney Island” with another local artist P-Dot in which they have released entire Coney Island series including mixtapes and EPs, aptly entitled "Coney Island," "Coney Island 2," and "III: Coney Island 3," and the single "Temperature Check (Remix) featuring  P-Dot & $ The Symbol (Cig Dolla)."

With the aforementioned successes, in between some of these projects and before others, Chise partnered with ASIR Consulting/Varsity Music Group in the Summer of 2020, and released his autobiographical project "Club Shirley's (Based On A True Story)" in the fall of 2020 with the buzz singles "Heart, So Heavy" & "Crown Royal Diaries".

In the fall of 2021, after a performance in which he & P-Dot opened up for Boldy James on his Bo Jackson/Bentayga Tour, Chise connected with Dot Gang member, Snatra 747.  Chise, along with $ The Symbol (Cig Dolla), P-Dot, and Snatra 747, formed as Dot Gang and dropped "F*ck A Demo Tape" then released the buzz single "Original Sin." Chise has also toured throughout the state of Michigan (Ann Arbor, Detroit, Lansing) and the Midwest, establishing himself in markets like Chicago, IL, Cleveland, OH, St. Louis, MO, etc.  He has opened up for Trick-Trick, Yukmouth, Ras Kass, D12, Redman & Method Man, Yin Yang Twins, Slum Village, Nick Speed, Boldy James, Sada Baby, etc.

Post "F*ck A Demo Tape," at the beginning of 2022, Chise has been on a incredible solo music run with the releases "Mason Made Vol.1: Janice Baby Boy," "3269," and now "Communion Sunday."
